Loving the outdoors and the planet has led me to become an avid supporter of nuclear energy as a tool to combat climate change, provide a just transition away from fossil fuels, and power the modern world. The climate challenges we face today require large-scale solutions, and the consensus among leading scientists is that to address these issues we must increase nuclear power generation. I have worked with organizations such as Generation Atomic, North American Young Generation in Nuclear, Net Zero Nuclear, the Breakthrough Institute, Thorium Energy Alliance, and Save Clean Energy towards these efforts.
I have also participated as an invited expert witness at state-level legislative committee hearings, and as a panelist and speaker for various conferences discussing nuclear communication and political strategy. Most recently, I traveled to Dubai for COP28 to help facilitate and participate in the first nuclear-specific side event at the global climate conference.
